Dr. Miriam Mikicki, MD is a functional and integrative medical doctor and practicing GP from London.
After first-hand witnessing her doctor parents’ integrative approach to medicine during her childhood, she developed a keen interest in natural remedies used in traditional Asian medicines. This also sparked an interest in East Asian culture, prompting multiple trips to the region and becoming fluent in Mandarin.
She graduated as a Doctor of Medicine in 2014 from the Jagellonian University in Kraków, Poland. Her studies were supplemented with international clinical placements at well-renowned institutions in Japan (聖路加国際病院) and China, where she gained a deeper understanding of Kampo (漢方) and Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Upon graduation, Dr Mikicki started practicing medicine in the National Health Service (NHS) in the United Kingdom, additionally undertaking extracurricular training in functional medicine, attending the first AFMCP course given in London in 2015. This helped her discover and understand the importance of a healthy gut for many areas of our health.
Dr. Mikicki runs her own holistic medical practice, Mikicki Medical, helping patients locally and internationally to treat the root causes of chronic ailments and supporting them on their journey to better health.

This inspired her to learn more about the power of nutrition and led to three years of training in nutritional therapy at Patrick Holford’s Institute of Optimum Nutrition in London.
She lived in Singapore and Japan and set up a successful practice where she supported both expats and local clients. In Singapore she worked at Body with Soul, a multi disciplinary clinic for 5 years. The beauty of this was that she could work closely with the Doctors. The collaborative work enabled clients to be supported with both functional and traditional medicine combined. The unique professional relationships that were forged during that time enable her to support my clients to this day.
