【Case Report 1】

Thank you for your continued support.

I am writing to you regarding the recent case involving Kotaro Tashiro.

Pet Name: Kotaro (4 years old)                Gender: Male (neutered at 1 year old)

Animal Species: Cat                                    Breed: MIX

Past Medical History: None

Preventive Measures: Vaccinations

Chief Complaint: Severe gingivitis throughout the oral cavity since the age of 3

Examination Results: Blood tests normal. Negative for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus and Feline Leukemia Virus.

Treatment Progress: Over the course of one year, treatment included thermotherapy (moxibustion applied to the cheeks), eFaceV applied to the gums biweekly, daily administration of Bio Normalizer, daily application of Cyclin to the gums, and daily use of Aquadent as drinking water. Visits to the clinic every half month. Depo-Medrol injections were administered when symptoms worsened, roughly every one to two months, allowing reasonable control considering the severe oral inflammation. Weight maintained at 4kg. However, after a year, considering the slight depression, worsening fur condition, and the burden of visits on the owner, full extraction of the molars was carried out after consultation (in October of this year). The patient has shown good progress with remarkable improvement in appetite. Inflammation remains around the back molars of both the upper and lower jaws, so treatment has been narrowed down to continued administration of Bio Normalizer and application of Cyclin to the mouth. Visits for thermotherapy are no longer necessary.

Current Medications: Bio Normalizer, Cyclin

Evaluation: Bio Normalizer has been effective for severe gingivitis in the mouth, and there has been no variation in the cat's preference, with almost no cases of cats refusing to eat it. While not dramatically effective for patients needing surgery, it is considered to have more than sufficient potential to help balance immune function in the oral cavity post-surgery and reduce inflammation.

【Case Report 2】

Thank you for your continued support.

I am writing to you regarding the recent case involving Kilala Yamada.

Pet Name: Kilala (4 years old)                  Gender: Male (neutered)

Animal Species: Cat                                    Breed: MIX

Medical history: None in particular. Feline AIDS carrier.

Preventive Measures: (-)

Chief Complaints: Despite treatment for stomatitis at another clinic, decreased appetite and weight loss continue.

Examination Results: Blood tests conducted at another clinic. Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) positive, Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) negative.

Treatment Progress: Changed treatment from continuous steroid injections to primarily taking Bio Normalizer. Additionally, instructed to use oral Meloxicam drops for severe oral pain. For prevention of AIDS onset, administered InterCat injection (2.5MU) once every two months.

Current Oral Medications: Bio Normalizer, Metacam liquid

Evaluation: Improved quality of life. Reduction in oral pain and drooling. Improved appetite. Weight gain. Bio Normalizer is taken daily without fail (0.5g BID). Metacam liquid is taken every other day for relief of oral pain, but mostly managed with once every two days dosing. Bio Normalizer has shown remarkable efficacy.

【 Case Report 1 】

Thank you for your continued support.

I am writing to you regarding the recent case involving Me Akiyama.

Pet Name: Me (14 years old)                  Gender: Female (spayed)

Animal Species: Cat                                  Breed: MIX

Medical History: Cardiomegaly (VHS 9), Heart murmur (Levin 4)

Preventive Measures: Vaccination

Chief Complaints: Fatigue, Loss of appetite, Conjunctivitis

Examination Results: Blood tests normal. Both Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) and Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) negative.

Treatment Progress: Hospitalized once due to loss of appetite. Two weeks later, the conjunctivitis, which had initially improved, became swollen. Eyelids also became swollen. Diagnosed with dacryocystitis from dacryoadenitis (photo attached). Treatment included ozone water eye wash, Bayrocin Tablets, Metacam, and oxytetracycline injections.

Current Oral Medications: Bio Normalizer, Bayrocin Tablets, Enpinaars

Current Eye Drops: Prolanone eye drops, Taribit eye ointment

Evaluation: Although it is unclear how much anti-inflammatory and appetite improvement effects Bio Normalizer had in this case, when mixed with BioCat and administered orally with a syringe or mixed into food after discharge, the cat ate well. It is believed that Bio Normalizer is valuable for preventing gastrointestinal symptoms when multiple antibiotics are used simultaneously. There has been no recurrence of dacryoadenitis one month after discharge and completion of medication.
