Q & A

We receive inquiries from practitioners. We would like to share the common inquiries with other practitioners here.

How long do you recommend taking BN for?

We recommend taking BN for three months with the right dosage for people's body in the right way.

Should people stop taking BN at some point in time?

People do not need to stop taking BN unless they wish to. Many people take BN for years.

How can I stop taking BN?

Once you have seen good improvement and wish to stop taking BN, please reduce the dosage gradually.

How long does it take for people to feel differences or improvements?

It is difficult to determine how long it takes for people to notice differences or improvements. Some people experience changes the very next morning, while for others, it may take weeks or even months. The timing depends on various factors, including an individual's health condition, lifestyle, and diet. Based on our experience in the UK, most cases of psoriasis without scalp involvement and arthritis show significant improvements within one week. Vegan individuals with IBS may also experience rapid improvements, although the dosage plays a crucial role. BN's effectiveness is dose-dependent; the higher the dosage, the more likely people will notice better and faster results. In general, substantial improvements can be observed within three months when people take the right amount of BN tailored to their body.

Are there any side effects?

BN is not associated with any side effects. However, it can be powerful. When people take a higher dosage, they may experience detox reactions or Herxheimer reactions, as BN is excellent for liver function and detox. This is part of the recovery process, so consider it a positive reaction as an adviser, even though it can be uncomfortable.

The most common symptoms are:

  • Fatigue/Sleepiness
  • Pain/Headache/Joint pains/Pain in areas with cancer
  • Diarrhea/Loose bowel movements
  • Stomach upset/Pain

Minor symptoms/Possible symptoms:

  • Rashes and itchiness
  • Ocular hyperemia or red eye
  • Arrhythmia or heart palpitations
  • Hypogastric pain, menstrual changes in some women
  • Increase in blood pressure, blood sugar levels, uric acid, serum potassium levels.

To prevent such symptoms, we recommend drinking plenty of water to flush out toxins. It is also important to get enough rest. Detox reactions can happen to anyone, especially when people start taking BN and/or when they take a higher dosage.

Our bodies are all biochemically different, so some people may experience detox reactions even with just one sachet. We won't know unless people try.

In severe cases, please decrease the dosage until the symptoms settle and then increase the dosage gradually.

One case where we commonly observe Herxheimer reactions is in cancer cases. When cancer patients take 4 sachets every night and a high dose (16 sachets a day/twice a week at least), we observe pain or/ and heat where the cancer is in most cases. If you use BN with cancer patients, it would be advisable to inform your client in advance.

What are the contraindications?

If a person has an allergy to any ingredients of BN (Green papayas, Dextrose, and Yeasts), we do not recommend taking BN.

Regarding medications, BN is safe to take with most medications apart from some anti-cancer drugs.

We do not recommend taking BN with anti-cancer drugs that contain heavy metals, such as platinum, and induce free radicals. BN is a great support for the immune system, but it could eliminate heavy metals and scavenge free radicals, potentially weakening the medication. There is a specific way to take BN for cancers to maximize the benefits of medical treatment as well as BN. Another medication called Thalidomide might be affected by BN's effectiveness, so we do not recommend taking BN with Thalidomide.

If you're concerned about whether the medications you or your clients are taking are okay to take with BN, please feel free to get in touch with us at info@toneko.co.uk. We will double-check it for you.

There is no problem taking BN with any other supplements. It is beneficial to take BN with other supplements as the absorption rate would be better by improving gut health. In this case, medications and other supplements work better.

Is it safe for children to take BN?

Yes, it is safe for children to take BN.

Is it safe for pregnant women to take BN?

There is no specific research targeting pregnant women taking BN available. However, there have been no reports of side effects or toxicity of BN, even in women taking BN during their pregnancy since 1969. If you or your clients are pregnant, consult a doctor before taking BN.

Are you available on Natural Dispensary?

No, we are not. The reason is straightforward. We cannot afford to be on Natural Dispensary. BN is an imported product, and it takes around 12 months to produce from harvesting. If we decided to be on Natural Dispensary, we would have to increase the price. We have not altered our prices since we began importing BN, despite the pandemic-related increases in importing costs and the general rise in living expenses. Our goal is to keep BN as affordable as possible. We are a small business, and we are well-acquainted with most of our customers' reasons for using BN because we provide advice and personal care. We know all our practitioners who use BN. We offer educational sessions, materials, individual case advice, and practitioner meetings. We consider direct communication with practitioners to be of great importance. BN is relatively new to the UK and Europe. Practitioners need to understand how to maximize the benefits of using BN. As BN has numerous therapeutic actions, it has the potential to assist with various conditions. Therefore, we aim to provide as much advice as possible directly to ensure the best outcomes. Our current plan does not include listing on Natural Dispensary, although we acknowledge that it is a valuable platform. Perhaps in the future, at the right time.
